The Huntington Historical Society proudly presents the 2013 honorees of the 23rd Annual “An Evening of Wine Under the Stars”

The Faileys, Marie, Maurine, and Dean

These three professionals have been actively involved with the Society for the past 40 years. Maurine used the extensive Huntington Historical Society Archives for her personal research which resulted in the publication of The Schoolhouses of Suffolk County and the first and only published history of East Northport.  Marie served as a member of the board of trustees as first vice president and

president. As a fundraiser for the Society, Marie transformed The Evening of Wine Under the Stars into the most important fundraising event for the Society. Dean, who now serves on the board of trustees, has a lifelong love of Long Island, its history and material culture. As a

curator of The Society for the Preservation of Long island Antiquities he researched, published a book and was the curator of exhibitions: Long Island Is My Nation and Edward Lange, a 19th century Huntington artist.

Peter Mazzeo and the Hit Squad, is known around Huntington for their great music, fun style, and talented musicians. We are excited to announce that they will be performing at this year's event.
